AS the television search for talent goes on across the UK, Thamesmead has been making its mark on the programme.
Two acts from the town have so far appeared on the show and both are through to the second round.
Street dance group Myztikal, the 2008 winners of Thamesmead’s own search for talented youngsters, the T-Factor competition got the “three yeses” from the judges.
A spin-off from Myztikal is Twist and Pulse, a street dance comedy act featuring former Myztikal dancer Ashley and his best friend Glen, who attend the Brit School in Croydon. They also impressed the judges with their “street-omedy” routine.
