A CAMPAIGN group for the deaf and hard-of-hearing is looking for new members to join its committee.
Bromley Chain, which has been around since 1980, meets once every six to eight weeks at members’ houses with sign language interpreters on hand to ensure there are no communication difficulties.
Jenny Froude, who edits the group’s newsletter, said: “If you feel you might have a role to play and would like to sample a committee meeting before committing yourself please get in touch with us or come to the AGM to see what we are all about.”
The AGM is at 7.30pm on June 8 at the Ripley Arts Centre, Sundridge Avenue, Bromley.
