HOPING to show that being healthy can also be fun, Oxleas NHS Trust is to host its second Health Festival.

The free festival will take place at Charlton Athletic FC’s ground in Floyd Road, Charlton, on May 27 from 10am until 3pm There will be lots of craft and market stalls and activities, including the chance to play football and have a go at less familiar sports such as fencing and volleyball.

People will also be able to get a health or BMI check, advice on diet and healthy living, as well as information about jobs, housing and education.

The trust, which provides mental health care in Bexley (it may provide different services for brom and green) held a similar event last year which was very popular.
