A COUNCIL candidate has called for the person who chose the venue for tonight's election count to be sacked.
Lib Dems Barabara Woodcraft and Mary Green have joined in the widespread criticism of the freezing cold London Soccerdome in Greenwich, where the pair have been helping verify votes.
Ms Woodcraft said she has had to wear three extra layers to keep warm.
She said: "It's a bad choice. They can't be counting properly because the tips of their fingers are so cold."
Ms Green said: "Whoever chose it should get the sack. People had no idea that it would be that cold."
