THE result of the Dartford constituency is expected at around 3am.
This is half an hour earlier than expected when the count began earlier.
And according to the buzz on the ground, the Tories are expected to win the seat when the result is announced at Acacia Hall, in the High Street.
Richard Wells, co-campaign manager for the Tories, told News Shopper: "We are quietly confident. We are feeling very happy with the way things have gone.
"We know we fought an excellent campaign."
Gareth Johnson is the Tory candidate in Dartford.
