A 19-YEAR-OLD passenger has died and four others were injured following a car crash in north Kent.

The crash involving a silver Citroen Saxo happened on the A227 Gravesend Road near Wrotham shortly after 3am on Saturday (April 3).

No other vehicles were involved.

The front seat male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.

Also in the car were two women aged 18 and two men aged 19 who were taken to Maidstone General Hospital and later discharged.

The road was closed for nearly seven hours before reopening at 9.50am.
