YOUNGSTERS are benefiting from a new adventure fitness area, funded by a Lottery grant.
The area, which includes a chain-walk bridge, a balance beam and stilt stepping-stones was created for the children at Chelsfield Primary School, Warren Road, Orpington, thanks to a £7,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund.
The money is part of the £750m New Opportunities for PE and Sport Programme which aims to create new and improved sports facilities across the country.
Headteacher Della Williams said: "It is a fantastic range of equipment which offers endless creative and imaginative play while developing skills of physical co-ordination."
