A CADET has been praised as "first rate" following a week of work experience at an RAF station.
Alex Sadler, 15, from 2427 Biggin Hill Squadron Air Training Corps, spent a week with the Aircraft Support Section at RAF Cottesmore, Rutland.
His work experience supervisor, Corporal Alan Smalley, said: "This hard-working student consistently produces work of an excellent standard.
"He is a first-rate example to his colleagues."
Alex has been a cadet for two years and hopes to join the RAF after finishing his education.
He said: "It made me realise the variety of careers available in the RAF other than pilot. It was great fun."
