POLICE cadets marched to their annual presentation ceremony.
The evening at the Metropolitan Police Sports Club, Croydon Road, Hayes, consisted of drill displays, award presentations and a salute to dead police officers.
Twins Sally and Rachael Turner, 18, of Eden Way, Beckenham, both received silver Duke of Edinburgh awards.
Rachael also won the best cadet award and the cadet's cadet of the year award, the Andy Bayes Shield.
Marc Hanscomb, 17, of Merryhills Close, Biggin Hill, received a bronze Duke of Edinburgh award.
Beccy Smithson, 17, of Quiet Nook, Keston, won the best achiever award and 15-year-old Andrew Garland, of Lancing Road, Orpington, won the best recruit award.
Bromley's Chief Inspector for Partnership and Safer Neighbourhoods, Marshall Kent, was one of the award presenters.
He said: "The volunteer cadets enables young people to learn good life skills and citizenship.
"We instill discipline, teamwork and team spirit."
