SHOPPERS have been invited to get their health checked by a team of volunteers.
Members of Greenwich Rotary Club set up a stroke awareness information stall outside the Asda store in Bugsbys Way, Charlton.
The volunteers handed out leaflets which inform people about the causes of strokes and offer warnings about the importance of staying healthy.
Passers-by could also find out more about their current state of health by having a free blood test.
Rotary Club member Don Austen said: "It is very important for people to keep an eye on their health.
"I learned I certainly need to take better care of myself."
