PENSIONERS climbed aboard a boat and took in some of the capital's finest sights.
Sixty elderly people boarded a boat from Cutty Sark Gardens, Greenwich, and made their way up the Thames.
The pensioners took in sights including Tower Bridge and the London Eye during the day, organised by Deptford Action Group for the Elderly (DAGE).
They then returned to Greenwich to finish their day with some pie and mash and a good old-fashioned sing-song.
DAGE chairman Harry Haward said: "It was nice to get so many people out for the day to see a bit of London.
"We all loved being on the boat. I'm just glad it didn't sink."
