A TEENAGER was threatened on a bus and had his mobile phone stolen by three other youths.

Now Bexley police have released CCTV images of three people they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The robbery took place on a 401 bus while it was travelling along Yarnton Way, Thamesmead, towards Bexleyheath at around 8.35pm on April 7.

The 17-year-old got on the bus at Tavy Bridge on his way to Bexleyheath. He sat downstairs because of the large number of youths on the top deck.

But the black youths came downstairs and confronted him, one suggesting he had a weapon in his pocket, and forced him to hand over his Sony Ericsson phone.

The three youths, then got off the bus at the Bexley Business Academy.

Anyone who recognises any of the youths should call PC Satvinder Sarr at Bexleyheath CID on 020 8284 9135 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
