WALKERS put their best foot forward for charity with a six-mile trek organised by The Gravesham Lions Club.
The 80 volunteers received a signed certificate for spending their May Day raising £4,000 good causes.
The annual walk began at Chalk Church and followed a six-mile route past Shornemead Fort and along the river front.
Transport was available for walkers who wished to finish at the halfway stage.
The Gravesham Lions Club was on hand to marshal the walk.
Refreshments were available at the finishing line.
Money raised will go towards the Lions Hospice and other charities which put themselves forward.
