NORTH WEST KENT FAMILY HISTORY SOCIETY - Dartford Branch
At our April meeting, the Greenwich Archivist, Frances Ward. told us about the gruesome Bubonic Plague when it visited Blackheath in 1635. Our hearts bled at the sufferings of the inhabitants - some illustrated with slides - but Frances ably provided a light touch with her humourous turn of phrase.
Meetings are held at Dartford Technical College Heath Lane, from 10a.m. - 12.30p.m. Visitors are welcome, hoping you will join our Society.
