REUNION: Beckenham Grammar School for Girls is organising a reunion to celebrate its 60th birthday. It is interested in contacting people born in 1946 who attended the school between 1957 and 1964. ON SHOW: Orpington Art Club will hold an exhibition of paintings at Bromley Central Library from May 8 to May 22. Admission is free and the exhibition is open during normal library hours. Paintings can be bought and the club is also looking for new members. Call 01959 573612.

GREAT SERVICE: Neil Walker of the Biggin Hill and Westerham Lions Club has received the Mayor of Bromley's Award in recognition of his voluntary services to the borough. Mr Walker has been a member of the fundraising organisation for more than 20 years.

MAKING THE CUT: A store manager at Bromley's The Glades shopping centre has raised more than £1,800 for Cancer Research UK. Spiro Grima, of Boros leather and luggage, was sponsored to have his long hair cut off for the charity.
