BLUEWATER suffered a bank robbery after a man with a gun threatened staff.
The robber targeted the Woolwich Bank on the upper mall of the centre at 3.20pm on Thursday and took out what police believe to be a handgun.
He demanded staff hand over money then left with around £2,000 in cash.
Nobody was hurt.
The man, believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, then left the bank, went down the stairs to the ground floor and into Marks and Spencer. He was captured on CCTV.
A Bluewater spokesman said: "We can confirm that a robbery took place at a branch of The Woolwich at Bluewater. No-one was injured.
"The incident is now a matter of investigation by Kent Police. We can provide no further details."
The white man was wearing a brown jacket and baseball cap.
Anyone with information about the robbery on April 27 should call police on 01474 565222.
