POLICE believe they have identified five yobs who committed criminal damage on buses thanks to News Shopper's Shop A Yob campaign.
The youths were caught on CCTV spraying graffiti and causing damage to bus seats.
Images of the identified five published in News Shopper showed them on routes leaving Catford bus garage.
Four of the offences happened on bus route 160 from Eltham to Catford bus garage.
Another incident happened on Greenwich Church Street, Greenwich, on route 199.
Officers are now set to quiz the youths before deciding what action to take.
There were 10 calls following the publication of the CCTV images.
PC Jon Hudson who works on Operation Bus Tag for the south-east said: "We have received an encouraging response to this campaign so far.
"All leads provided to police are being investigated."
