PENSIONERS had a flipping good afternoon cheering on staff at a sponsored pancake tossing challenge.
The 40 members of Dartford Age Concern celebrated Shrove Tuesday at their day centre in Meadowside.
They egged on nine members of staff who had been promised £600 in sponsorship to flip pancakes at the event.
The pensioners, aged between 70 and 97, also got to try their hand at flipping and were helped out by six Dartford firefighters who came to offer support.
Day centre manager Gloria Fuller said: "One member of staff managed 188 flips. There was definitely a bit of competitiveness going on."
The money raised will be used towards funding the charity's transport costs.
