CHILDREN are being asked to make nominations for a competition trying to find the area's most deserving mums.
The Mother's Day Promise competition wants youngsters to nominate a parent with a story to tell.
It could be a battle against cancer, career achievement, sporting success or simply a mum who made a difference to her children's lives.
The competition is organised by not-for-profit organisation Sencio Community Leisure, which works in partnership with Sevenoaks Council to operate White Oak Leisure Centre, Hilda May Avenue, Swanley.
Three winners will each scoop an all-in-one centre membership for a year.
Children must write up to 50 words about their mum's story and make a promise to her for the year ahead.
Send entries to customerservices@sencio.org.uk or to Sencio Community Leisure, Sevenoaks Leisure Centre, Buckhurst Lane, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN13 1LW by March 17.
