A MULTI-FAITH resource centre has reopened its doors following a £12,500 revamp.
The South London Multi-Faith Multi-Cultural Resource Centre has moved to a bigger room in the Professional Development Centre, Kilmorie Road, Forest Hill.
The council-funded centre, which is open to all schools and organisations in the borough, promotes understanding of different cultures, religious faiths and communities.
More books and resources on Somalian culture and history feature in the revamped centre to reflect the borough's changing communities.
The centre also acts as a language library, with books and study packs for the borough's communities.
Out of Lewisham's 250,000-strong population, more than a third of people come from black or ethnic minority communities.
