Style is an integral element to making a new-build property cutting edge and appealing and the Reflection development at Royal Arsenal aims to achieve the highest level of style and interior design in every home.

Reflection is a new building among Royal Arsenal's restored riverside pavilions and INplace has a collection of apartments situated in the South Building of still available.

The Royal Arsenal site itself is a modern living environment combining carefully restored period architecture with innovative contemporary new buildings.

Reflection's designers claim the overall design reflects today's riverside setting with plenty of large light-enhancing windows and contemporary interiors combined with stylish steel and glass balconies which create great living spaces, inside and out.

Sherry Parrott is an interior designer from design agency Design For All Occassions which styled Reflection's interiors.

She says when working in Reflection she had the trendy and professional purchaser in mind and tried to cater for such tastes.

She said: "The Royal Arsenal site is a unique development, as it was previously a military base.

The old buildings have been refurbed and maintain great character and interest.

"This canvas needed to be decorated stylishly and we had to work around any restrictions the site had, for example there was very little natural light.

"To overcome this the windows were oversized to maximise the light and we also used fluid mood lighting to give a sophisticated air. We sometimes used tints, such as amber bulbs, to get a warm glow pulsing through."

Reflection has many wow factors. It wraps around a shallow lagoon, with a striking central sculpture, along with fountains and water plants, providing a sophisticated central feature for the apartments of the building, with many of the apartments' spacious balconies and terraces overlooking the lagoon. Sherry was keen to give the interiors a wow factor too and achieved this with furnishings and accessories.

She said: "We had to make the premisises memorable. Every apartment is styled individually depending on its size, layout and light which means no residents apartment is like the one next door.

"We used lots of textiles to make the rooms look warm and comfortable and to make people feel like they could live there.

"Our gimmick was circular beds. For contemporary developments like reflection you need to be one step ahead of trends and the high street. We made sure all our accessories and colours were the trends of tomorrow."

Reservations are now being taken on the second release, with prices starting from £200,000.
