PEOPLE interested in helping with the upkeep of a park will have the chance to express their views.
Footscray Meadow, North Cray Road, Sidcup, is set to get a friends' group to work with the Bexley Council on projects ranging from wildlife surveys to fundraising events.
A meeting will be held at 7.30pm today so volunteers can suggest ideas on how to set up the friends' group.
The meeting will have representatives of other groups from around the borough to share their experiences of working in parks.
The venue for the meeting is North Cray Community Centre, off Bedens Road.
