Two men posing as window cleaners robbed an 84-year-old woman of her purse when they tricked their way into a Cheam residential home.
The victim answered the door to the two suspects at the Elizabeth House home in Park Lane around 12.30pm on Friday, August 14.
Believing them to be window cleaners, the woman let the suspects into the home where they gained access to her flat.
When they had left, the victim realised that her wardrobe door was open and that her bag had been rifled. Her purse containing about £60 was stolen.
The woman said that the suspects where both white, but was unable to give any more descriptions.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the two men.
