A hospital consultant is offering a reward after thieves made off with some of his specialist medical equipment when they broke into his car last weekend.
The missing black Samsonite briefcase had more than £1,300 worth of eye equipment that its owner, Kings College consultant Dr Wasik Gebrial, of Ryefield Road, Norwood, says is worthless to anyone outside the medical profession.
The stolen equipment included a retinscope, a specialist oththalmoscope, a tonometer and a stethoscope.
Anyone who has information that might lead to their recovery should call South Norwood Police on 0181 649 1347.
