MOTORISTS will not only have gleaming cars but glossy-looking pooches if they call into Bishop's Stortford fire station this Saturday.
For the crew will be on stand-by to clean cars for good causes, while pet company Sherleys, of Woodside Industrial Estate, Bishop's Stortford hands out free bottles of dog shampoo to the first 100 motorists.
The barking good fun takes place at Patmore Close from 10am to 4pm. All proceeds will be split between the National Fire Services Benevolent Fund and the Moreton Romanian Orphans Fund.
