Bumper crowds helped make last weekend's annual Selsdon Forestry and Country Show a roaring success.
Glorious weather greeted more than 25,000 visitors who flocked to enjoy a variety of spectacular displays and the full range of country pursuits.
Once again the show, now in its 10th year, managed to go one better than the previous year and organiser Roger Yates was thrilled that the event was a crowd-pleaser. He told the Guardian: "It was the biggest and best show yet. After some initial drizzle on Saturday morning, we had fantastic weather."
The magnificent horsedrawn Victorian steam fire engines stole the show and the animals were clearly the star turn with the dog and falconry displays a close second favourite. But for those not wowed by the animals there was also a host of crafts and stalls, including wood carving and sheep shearing.
