ANDY THOMSON retained his Kent Singles outdoor bowls title, held at the Sandwich Club.
It was the fourth time Thomson has taken the coveted crown, having first won it with back-to-back triumphs in 1981 and 1982.
Andy, a member of the Blackheath and Greenwich Club since 1987, was formerly attached to Old Colfeians and has represented his country on nine occasions besides winning the National title in 1981.
