I AM a year nine student at Chingford School and I happened to come across the letter in your paper regarding my former head of year Mr Bullock who died.
Mr Bullock was a great teacher and myself and two other friends felt that if there were readers who were unfortunate enough not to know Mr Bullock, they would not understand how much of a tragedy his recent death is.
I hope you can print the following poem as a last reminder of the asset he was to everyone that knew him.
Mr Bullock was a man of sport,
Humanities he also taught,
He loved his job as our head of year,
He took it seriously, as part of his
career.
We miss Mr Bullock in every way,
He took our assembly on his last Mon
day,
At that time we never knew
How much he had helped both me and
you.
Mr Bullock was one of a kind,
He always had us on his mind,
Everything that he said and done,
Was to benefit us, each and everyone.
Mr Bullock, we could never forget
you,
And there is no way in the world we
would ever want to,
Mr Bullock, you have helped us so
over
the last three years,
And the tragedy of your death
reduced us all to tears.
KATIE LILL,
Brindwood Road,
Chingford.
