Children as young as five will be able to learn martial arts at summer activity courses being held in Cheshunt this month.
All the three-day courses take place at Grundy Park Leisure Centre in Windmill Lane between August 19 and 21, and August 26 and 28.
Mini martial arts courses, costing £4.50 for leisure centre members and £6 for non-members, will give youngsters aged five and over an introduction to the martial sports. Classes take place between 10am and 10.30am.
Karate classes for those aged seven and over take place from 11.30am to 12.30pm and this course costs £9 for members and £10.50 for non-members.
Finally children aged 12 and over can take part in an energetic kickboxing course.
The kickboxing lesson will run from 10.30am to 11.30am and prices are the same as for the karate course.
Bookings for the courses can only be made in person at the leisure centre.
