YOUNG people from the borough have been trying their hand at international diplomacy.
Year 13 politics students from Bromley High School, Blackbrook Lane, Bromley, took part in the 10th Schools Model United Nations Conference, which was held at Reigate Grammar School.
The 160 students represented Australia, Canada and Japan and discussed issues such as global warming and euthanasia.
Jayne Murphy, who is head of politics at the school, says the event gave students the opportunity to learn about the work of the UN.
Pupil Rachel Short, 18, said: "This has given me a deeper understanding of worldwide political issues. I really enjoyed this experience and felt it was definitely worthwhile."
