CHILDREN hopped on their trikes and bikes and learned about basic road safety at a sponsored pedal push.
The three-and-a-half to five-year-olds from Istead Rise County Primary School, Downs Road, Gravesend, and Young Risers Pre-School put pedal to the metal at the October 21 event.
Around 60 youngsters also used road safety equipment including traffic lights, cones and zebra crossings which were on loan from Kent County Council.
Supervisor Lorna Nolan said: "The kids loved it. It was a great way to raise money it was both fun and educational.
"We are expecting to raise around £500 which will go towards pre-school facilities."
