FATAL CRASH: A 17-year-old man died in a motorbike accident in Rye Crescent, Orpington, on October 14. The victim from Bromley, was riding his new Gilera 125cc motorcycle. Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash which happened at around 1.10pm. Call the Collision Investigation Unit in Catford on 020 8285 1574.

HOSPITAL BLAZE: Five people were evacuated after a fire in the juvenile wing at Bethlem Hospital, Monks Orchard Road, Beckenham. The unit was back in use within two hours after the incident on Sunday, at 10.30pm. The cause of the blaze is under investigation and the wing is operating as normal.
