A GROUP of primary school children went live from their school to other pupils all over the country.
Northwood Primary School, Northwood Place, Thamesmead, was the only primary school invited to take part in the London-based video conference.
It also involved secondary schools, the British Olympic Association, the Science Museum and the London Symphony Orchestra.
During Northwood's 15-minute slot, pupils who come from the Yoruba tribe from Nigeria told other children about their culture.
Dressed in tribal clothes, they acted out a traditional Yoruba tale and explained the meaning of their names and clothes.
They also performed the words and actions to a traditional Yoruba song.
