SHOP FAIRLY: A group of over-50s called Prime Time is hosting a Fair Trade day next Wednesday in St Peter's Church hall, Pickford Lane, Bexleyheath, from 10.30am to 3pm. The event will raise cash to buy a cow for St Peter's linked church in Uganda.
HISTORIC DAY: The Crossness Engines Trust is hosting a family history day at the Grade II Listed beam engine house, Belvedere Road, Abbey Wood, on October 30. The day runs from 10.30am to 5pm. Tickets cost £4. Children under 16 go free.
MEET POLICE: People living in the Iris Avenue area of Bexleyheath can meet their policing team on the corner of Tudor Walk, next Monday from 6.30pm.
