TRUST THANKS: The National Childbirth Trust (NCT) raised more than £400 at its Nearly New Sale at the Youth and Family Centre, Erith, on October 1. NCT fundraiser Isabel Sheppard Fidler wishes to thank all those involved and says there will be plans for another sale in the spring next year.
CHARITY FAIR: Headway, the charity which supports people who have suffered a brain injury, is holding its autumn fair at Bostall House, Goldie Leigh Hospital, Lodge Hill, Abbey Wood, on October 26 from 11am.
JACK POT: Danson Park Bowls Club raised nearly £360 for Macmillan Cancer Care at its Biggest Coffee Morning In The World event. The morning also included a raffle with prizes donated by Welling traders.
BOOK WORMS: All Saints Church, Nuxley Road, Belvedere, is hosting a book fair in the church hall on Saturday to raise cash. As well as books, the sale will include CDs, videos and DVDs.
