BEXLEYHEATH'S MP is one of more than 160 supporting a Parliamentary motion to scrap the new Licensing Act.
David Evennett's constituency includes Bexleyheath town centre, which has a large number of pubs and bars.
The Early Day Motion, tabled by Tory party leader Michael Howard, calls for the 2003 Act to be annulled.
Mr Evennett said:"This Act ignores the advice of the police, judges and officials which will result in an increase in binge drinking, anti-social behaviour and drink-related crime."
