A PRIMARY school has opened its doors to promote family learning with an evening of taster sessions.
Temple Hill Community Primary School, St Edmund's Road, Dartford, held the event for the parents of pupils as part of Kent's family learning week.
The two-hour courses, led by tutors from Dartford Adult Education, in Highfield Road, included cookery, sport, art and computer fun.
Around 75 adults took part in the event, which also gave them the opportunity to sign up for further courses with Dartford Adult Education.
Headteacher Bill Watson said: "This was a launch evening for us to show the range of benefits they can draw from family learning.
"It was very well attended and the children worked alongside their parents."
