PASSENGERS were transported back to the 1950s and 1960s at a bus day featuring vehicles from the era.
Gravesend Classic Bus Day gave people the chance to ride buses around the authentic Green Line town and country routes of 40 years ago.
The routes featured included travel to Cobham Hall, Gads Hill and along the riverside.
Thousands of people viewed the 20 classic buses and coaches on display in Parrock Street car park.
There were also classic cars and static displays available on the day.
The event was arranged by enthusiast organisation Country Bus Rallies.
Brian Portway from Towncentric said: "The event was so popular we had to lay on extra coach trips to cope with the demand."
