AN ALLEGATION three councillors concealed their membership of a lobby group has been turned down by the Standards Board for England.
Councillor Frank Parker alleged fellow Swanley Town councillors Dee Morris, Geoff Blaxall and Roger McInnes had failed to declare their membership of the Hextable Residents' Association.
In a claim refuted by the three councillors, he said they had received "an unfair advantage" when discussing at council meetings the proposed Hextable split from Swanley Town Council.
A spokesman for the Standards Board for England, which monitors behaviour in local government, said: "The cases were not serious enough to warrant investigation."
