In a story on youth crime in last week's News Shopper, Bexley Council's Tory group was quoted as praising the Labour administration of contributing cash to a police operation to clamp down on youth disorder.
The Tory group was, however, referring to money contributed to provide reassurance policing in the wake of a series of arrests in connection with the activities of the gang Race Attack in Northumberland Heath. We apologise for any embarrassment caused.
