The Christchurch congregation, in Swanley High Street, celebrated 30 years with the Reverend Richard Wells and his wife, Elizabeth. He is the longest serving minister the congregation has had and is also the longest serving United Reformed Church minister in Britain. Mr Wells, 56, said: "I have seen a lot of changes in Swanley over the last 30 years. This is a good, thriving congregation and I really enjoy serving these people as their minister."
