A PRIMARY school, a specialised care company and a hospital school service from the Dartford area have all been awarded investors in people status.
Bean Primary School, in School Lane, Bean, Smartmove Homes, which provides specialised care for the elerly and mentally disabled, and West Kent Hospital School service, both in Main Road, Longfield, were rewarded for their high standards in staff development and training.
Kent and Medway Learning and Skills Council board member Malcolm Bell presented the awards at a special ceremony at Leeds Castle.
He said: "The investors in people programme requires a strong grasp by organisations of the links between taking care of staff and realising business goals.
"It is clear these organisations have demonstrated a great deal of determination in achieving the award."
