THREE students from Eltham College have come third in a national competition to find the most talented chemists.
Angus Brown, James Peerless and Timothy Woo, all 17, from the Lower Sixth Form at the Grove Park School, shrugged off the rigours of a demanding period of AS-Level examinations to travel to Newcastle for the finals of the Schools Analyst Competition.
The trio came third after wowing the Royal Society of Chemistry panel with the sophisticated techniques employed to identify the mode of death of a man from blood and urine samples.
