Student Cuong Huang, 26, looks laid-back as he lounges on a chair he designed but style gurus certainly weren't. They sat up and took notice, picking it for display at the Museum of Domestic Design and Architecture, Middlesex University. Mr Huang, of Malthus Path, Thamesmead, who is doing a BA product design course at the university, had been researching chairs and chaise longues for his final year project. Mr Huang said: "The aesthetics were important. I chose the wicker element as I like nice lines, and a natural movement and look. The best thing is you can take the wicker section off and slide it onto the back. This feels really nice as the wicker massages your back."
