CRIES of "howzat" and "not out" filled the air during the annual Kwik Cricket tournament for youngsters.
More than 200 boys and girls took part in the competition at the Bat and Ball Cricket Club, in Gravesend.
The winning team from Riverview Juniors, Cimba Wood, Gravesend, will represent Gravesham at the county championships in Canterbury at the end of the month.
Riverview's sports teacher Peter Hughes said: "It was a great afternoon and the kids really loved it. We've got a good team with a good captain.
"The big advantage of the game is that every is involved all the time."
