Sutton captain John Fry says four wins from their last nine Castle Lager Surrey Championship games should be enough to escape relegation to division one.
The Cheam Road team have only won once all season and are bottom of the table.
Fry is confident Sutton can starting with tomorrows game with Malden Wanderers at Cheam Road.
He said: I think four wins from our last nine games would be enough.
We have the ability. Most of the games we have lost have been really close and could have gone either way.
Fry and Michael Carberry are missing from the Sutton line up tomorrow. Carberry playing Surrey while Fry has a shoulder injury.
Henderson Clarke will take over as skipper, added Fry. We are going into the game with a positive attitude.
With a little bit of luck hopefully we can turn those narrow defeats into wins.
Sutton stage their cricket week at Cheam Road next week. The highlight is on Friday when Sutton face the all-stars from Lashings.
Other matches: Monday Sutton v Old Rutlishians, Tuesday Sutton v MCC, Wednesday Lashings v Surrey seconds, Thursday Sutton v Stoics.
