OUTSTANDING Lewisham Council staff were thanked at a Pride Awards ceremony held at Blackheath Concert Halls.
Staff were nominated by their colleagues, council partners and customers, in 11 categories of excellence.
Among the award winners were Bruce Ryan for colleague of the year, Claire Porton for young employee of the year, Venis Buckle, Maggie Gardiner and Vicki Larner for community responsibility, Rachel Goldsmith for innovation, Kevin Muller for manager of the year, Sharon Wilkins for partnership working, Frances Clark for excellence in diversity, Hazel Williams, Anne Stanley, Jane Alexander and Jean Hutchinson for development.
