CHARITY SHOPS: The Imperial Cancer Research fund shops in Bromley and Blackheath have opened their doors to customers seven days a week in a bid to add to their fund-raising success. Both stores are now open from 10.30am to 4.30pm every Sunday, and are appealing for additional volunteers. If you feel you can help, please call into one of the stores.
ART DISPLAY: Paintings by members of Sidcup Art Club are on display and for sale at Bromley Central Library, High Street, until July 14. The library is open from 9.30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, with late opening until 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
BIG SCREEN: The Odeon (ABC) cinema in Beckenham has unveiled a newly-refurbished screen as part of its £1.5m project to improve the current facility.
