Staff from Radio Marsden brought some of the Wild West to Sutton High Street on Sunday with the fourth annual country and western festival.
The bright hot day brought out the crowd in droves to cheer on the cowboys and cowgirls. Onlookers were also entertained by the quick-draw demonstration from the sharpshooters, of which the winning time was an impressive 0.16 sec.
Music from country band Rebel Yell and the Tall Texan Roadshow received a warm reception with a special mention for popular singer Karen Fox.
All this and the chance to join in with some line dancing
resulted in a glorious day for all involved. In fact organisers thought the event went so well that next years event has already been scheduled for June 30.
