This is just one of 30 abandoned rabbits dumped on Animal Lifelines doorstep while neglectful owners swan off on their summer holidays.
Now Christine Redwood from the Cheam practice is desperately appealing for animal lovers to give them a home.
We have been inundated with rabbits, she told the Comet. People are going on holiday and cant find someone willing to care for them so they dump them here.
She blamed the growing problem on owners allowing their rabbits to breed.
The pet shops will not take them because they are not babies and owners dont want to look after so many rabbits.
And its not just fluffy bunnies being made homeless. Two nine-month-old male snakes, described by Christine as nice and friendly, were dumped on Wimbledon Common. They arrived at the practice in a nervous condition, and have been in foster care since.
We have neutered male rabbits, a few guinea pigs and the two male snakes all in need of some TLC, said Christine.
To offer them a home, call Animal Lifeline, in Alberta Avenue, on 020 8274 0034.
